Alldredge Wilderness Journey is located in the beautiful Canaan Valley of North Central West Virginia, the highest inhabited valley east of the Rocky Mountains. This secure location has two ski resorts and is a mecca for mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, and cross-country and downhill skiing. Davis, WV was voted one of the top-ten best outdoor towns in the country.

Alldredge is within a day’s drive for two-thirds of the US population.

Specifically, Alldredge is 3.5 hours from Washington, DC; 3 hours from Pittsburgh; 4 hours from Baltimore; and 4 hours from Richmond, VA.

From Dulles International Airport

1. From Dulles International Airport, follow the airport access road to Route 66W.
2. Take 66W to 17N to 50W. Follow 50W to Rt 93W. 93W will bring you into Davis, Route 32. Turn left at stop sign on 32S.
3. When you enter Davis, you will see a car wash on the left side of the road. The next building is the Alldredge Wilderness Journey office.

From Pittsburgh International Airport

1. From Pittsburgh International Airport, follow the Airport Parkway to Rt. 60, which will combine with Route 22. Follow to 79S.
2. Follow 79S to Morgantown, WV, where you will pick up Route 68E. Follow 68E to the Friendsville, MD exit (Exit 4), Route 42.
3. Take Route 42S approximately 7 miles to Route 219S. Follow 219S into Thomas, WV.
4. In Thomas, take 32S to Davis, WV.
5. When you enter Davis, you will see a car wash on the left side of the road. The next building is the Alldredge Wilderness Journey office.
